Step 1 — Ingestion

Reads the drawings you already have

Vector CAD and BIM files are parsed natively; flattened PDFs and scanned paper blueprints are vectorized first. The extraction engine handles hatching, poché, and hand-lettered annotations from pre-CAD eras.

  • Walls, doors, and swing directions read directly from geometry

Step 2 — Routing

Solves egress with the code as a constraint

Travel-distance limits, common-path rules, dead-end caps, and exit capacity are enforced inside the solver — not checked after the fact. Each scenario gets an independent pass with its own constraint set.

  • Primary and secondary routes from every point in the building
  • Accessible egress, areas of refuge, and device staging as first-class routes
  • Failure simulation: every exit blocked in turn, secondary signage re-verified
  • Fire, lockdown, seismic, and hazmat scenario sets from one drawing
Step 3 — Delivery

Ships the signs, not just a report

The deliverable is everything an installer and an inspector need: the artwork, the map, and the paper trail. When the building changes, upload the new set — the platform diffs the geometry and reissues only the signs that moved.

  • Print-ready artwork: arrows, ISO 7010 pictograms, photoluminescent variants
  • Placement map with sign IDs, mounting heights, and installation walk order
  • Compliance packet formatted for AHJ review
  • Revision diffing for renovations and layout changes
